Fun Filled Weekend

Boy, did we cram a lot in our weekend. First, Emma made another trip to Build a Bear to get some clothes for Billie the Bear. She has been very upset that Bille is "nakey" and only had a shirt on. Momo and Papa thought a trip to the store might make things better, so Billie now has shoes, a skirt and sunglasses. Thank you, Momo and Papa! Then we came back to find eggs at the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Emma caught on a little quicker this year and filled up her basket very quickly. She even got plenty of eggs before the big kids took over (so much for rules). On Sunday, we made a trip to see Grandma Imy. We had a great visit and yummy lunch. Emma summed it by saying, "Grandma Imy's house fun!" I love weekends like this!

Generations

Last week we drove out to Plainfield to visit with my Uncle Raymond, Aunt Echo, cousin Ginny, her husband Andy and their new baby, Preslee. I love being close enough to family that we can drive over for dinner and visit. Dinner was fabulous! We kept wondering why we don't do this more often. This was the first time for us to visit with Preslee. Emma was very entertained by Preslee's toys even though she was too big for most of them. We did manage to get a few pictures of the newest generation of our family. I was proud of Emma. She was gentle with Preslee and gave her a lot of kisses. We need to plan another family visit very soon!

Someday, Emma will never answer my questions. I am taking full advantage of her cuteness these days!
