Having Fun on Snowy Days
Is there a future teacher here? It kept them both quiet for a while! We made a trip to the library that day to get books about animals. Emma is learning about all kinds of animals at school. She chose books on elephants, cheetahs and meerkats.
This video is for my nieces and nephews to check out (and Emma, too). We drove through a snowstorm to see Disney's Toy Story on Ice. It was a big surprise for Emma. She loved it and so did I. I think Barbie and Ken were my favorite.
I need to be creative this week. We haven't gone too far. I have done some updates to the blog, so I hope you like it. My next big project is organizing photos. Wish me luck!

Noisy Nora
How can a little thing make so much noise? Miss Nora has such a personality! If she isn't screaming, she's blowing raspberries or banging on the exersaucer. She is becoming very independent and wants to feed herself. She also spends a great deal of time trying to get her feet in her mouth. After looking at these pictures, I realized Nora has that same look in her eye; "Don't mess with me!" Boy, when she starts crawling, we will be in trouble!

Sledding
What do you do with a new sled from Santa and a fresh dusting of snow? You beg your daddy until he gives in and takes you out in the freezing temperatures for some winter fun. Every day since Christmas, Emma has been asking to go out on her new red sled. Today was the day and she had a ball. Emma loves to make snow angels and practices often on her bedroom floor. Looks like the practice paid off. She was thrilled to get a visit from the neighborhood mascot, Buddy. He lives next to the park. Buddy is known by everyone and is a gentle giant. Emma stayed out alot longer than a thought she would. She is adventurous!
