Emma's First Parade

We took Emma out to her first parade today at the Fishers Freedom Festival. The parade was full of your typical Indiana fun; tractors, fire trucks, high school bands, cheerleaders and the Hadi Shriners. The kids were most amazed by the $300,000 combine. We all cheered for the soldiers and my second cousin, Grace and her Brownie Troop. She was so sweet and saved us some candy. The adults voted there needed to be some more music in the parade (of course Matt and I are comparing things to the Pride parade in Chicago). Emma seemed to enjoy at it all and never made a sound as the sirens went by her. Next year she will be fighting us for the candy.
